We have recently gone through the process of moving to Xero on behalf of a number of our clients to online cloud accounting. 

Some clients have elected to stay with MYOB Essentials.

We have made the changes as we believe we are then in a position to be able to offer a better accounting and advice service to our clients.

We have already noticed the immediate benefits of the change with our clients who have moved across to the cloud.

The benefits include:

1 Clients have up to date accounting information whenever there is a need to discuss issues, make decisions or produce information for external parties

2 We can advise immediately on accounting or tax issues when our clients telephone or email our office regarding the input of information

3 The accounting fees are primarily now being spent on services when we can assist our clients on a more timely basis

4 The software itself is quick and easy to use than older products. The software also makes excellent use of text recognition and various add on applications
